Pellets are made from natural ingredients, such as cereal straw, hay, rape straw and other energy crops. Production of pellets is handled by equipment called "Granulators”, or similar to the product name, "Pelletizers.” After passing through the form a high degree of material compaction is obtained, which results in fuel with very good energy properties and calorific value, containing minimum amounts of ash.

During biomass pellet combustion "zero CO2 emission" occurs. This is due to the fact that during growth the plant absorbs as much carbon dioxide as is released during its combustion. Ash from pellet combustion can be used as a mineral fertilizer, due to high content of elements important for plant growth. Straw pellets as energy fuel contain a relatively high level of volatile parts, thus, its combustion takes place with a very high efficiency. At the same time ash and moisture content stays on a stable, low level.
